Good government doesn't happen by accident. Last fall, SPUR released Charter for Change, a blueprint for making San Francisco’s City Hall more effective, accountable, and responsive.

This November, voters may have a chance to reshape how San Francisco works. Mayor Daniel Lurie has advanced three charter reform ballot measures that address several of SPUR’s recommendations.

Join us for an in-depth conversation about the proposed reforms. We'll explore what's changing, what's at stake if the measures pass or fail, and why this moment represents a rare opportunity to improve how local government works.

Speakers:

  • Sean Elsbernd / President & CEO, SPUR
  • Ben Rosenfield / Senior Advisor, Governance and Economy, SPUR
