DESCRIPTION: Everyone is hopeful that the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that was passed by Congress last year can be the transformational opportunity we need to deliver a better transportation system here in the Bay Area and beyond. Despite the presence of key funding, however, major transit projects are still often notoriously difficult to carry out — some projects cost too much and others simply fail to materialize. What can the Bay Area do to become a testing ground to solve some of the systemic problems that lead to these likelihoods, enabling our region to better leverage infrastructure funding and deliver major projects more quickly and cost-effectively? Come discuss what it will take to get better at doing big things.\n\nFor details, click here: https://spur.secure.nonprofitsoapbox.com/component/events/event/51
